GMAX GM11D Adult Dual Sport Motorcycle Helmet - White/Silver / Medium Review

I chose the GMAX for three main reasons: 1) I am a glasses wearer, and my riding glasses particularly have thick frame arms. The GMAX allows me to slip them right on and they fit comfortably. 2) The visor on the GMAX goes up completely out of your field of vision, while most of these dual sport style helmets have a clearance problem with the peak forcing the visor to be down slightly in its raised position. 3) Price. I wanted to get riding soon after I got my bike and I didn't want to shell out the cash for those high priced brands that are hard to pronounce. Bottom line... it's DOT approved, looks good, fits pretty good, is very functional, and it's priced right. Knocking a star off just because it's a lesser known manufacturer, and it seems like it is difficult at this time to find the replaceable accessories, ie. the cheek pads, liners, and shields.
