Kawasaki Klr650 Klr 650 Handlebar Bag K57003-103 Review

This is my favorite accessory for my KLR650. Whether I go on longer or shorter rides, I always have this on the bike. It fits my insurance information, registration, my cell phone, my wallet, my house keys, and could fit a lot more if I needed it to. It is a great use of space.

Also, though I haven't had this experience, it makes getting your license and registration a lot easier should you ever be pulled over by the authorities.

That being said, there are a few small improvements I would like to see made:

-The Velcro straps should be a few centimeters longer to make it easier to put on the bike. Since the pouch is very solid and hard, it can be a pain to get the second strap on firmly. While it stays, I fear that the used portion of the velcro will wear off quicker. Most of the Velcro is not used when you have it pulled all the way.
-The pouch should not be as hard, but looser. The picture makes it look like it is loose, but it is actually made out of hard cloth and into a solid shape. This makes it more difficult to put the Velcro on and can limit the shape of things you can put in the bag. That being said, it still holds plenty.
-I wish the material were waterproof and had a cover over the zipper. Then I could take it on rides during bad weather and not worry about my phone getting wet.

These are small qualms. This product is awesome, and I would definitely buy it again. Five Stars! :)
