These tires did where out very fast. I didn't check the miles on my bike but after around 8k miles I went through the rubber and had a blowout yesterday. I would say they need to be replaced no more than 6k miles as I think that is when they were through the tread on the middle. I am replacing them because they are very sticky and I feel safer in raid on them. Half the price of other tires, they last half as long but the upside is better controlI did order again and according to the people I bought from, I was lucky to get 8k miles out of my tire, even 6k would be pushing it. I would just recommend anyone getting this tire to really watch the tread and make sure you replace early as these tires are very thin under the tread. the tire I replaced this with had no tread left and still had very thick rubber. They also had 3 nails, one of which was huge and did not let any air out (didn't know the nails were there until the tire came off.) Still went with this again since I am going to be selling my bike very soon
