Givi Monolock E26 Tour Top Case - Flat Black Review

To start with the bad, which is very minimal: The name of the top case-"Tour" is a joke... You can barely fit a small helmet or equal amount of luggage... So if you plan TOURING, look for the much bigger size cases.
For my use, though, it is PERFECT!!! I commute to work(construction) and carry my lunch box; during the day I store my riding gear(jacket,pants,gloves...) inside; strap my helmet to the bike with a chain, which I carry in the case too. It is VERY sturdy; VERY WELL made, looks good(not ugly and out of place on my FJR 1300). The closing mechanism and lock looks very good too. It came with mounting hardware and bottom plate, so you mount to your bike and if you wish, can take off your case in a second. Very convenient and safe if your bike stays outside. The case stays secure on the bike with VERY high speeds(over 130...) with no any impact over handling.
I would Highly recommend the case for daily use, gives you enough space to carry some stuff and make your trip more comfortable.
I bought the back support also; planning to do some weekend rides with my wife. The support fits perfect; looks decent, matches the case. Haven't had a chance to test yet, but looks like it will help your passenger to feel a little safer(not to drop off the bike when accelerating hard). Again, it is meant for light duty; if looking for Goldwing comfort, look elsewhere...
Overall, very pleased and happy with my Givi set; it is PERFECT for what it is meant to be; just know what is the purpose of your case and you will be happy too. And the price was AWESOME too!!!!!!!!!!!
