The 2011 carbon fiber EVO helmet has been upgraded to a 3K carbon weave shell increasing the strength while reducing the helmet to an amazing 968 grams in weight. Intake and exhaust ports are integrated into the shell construction to help keep the airflow constant while the removable and washable Coolmax liner wicks moisture away and keeps heat to a minimum.

Well, I did have the opportunity to test it's impact resistance. Small crack/breech in the outer shell when went over a high rock roller, but the rocks on the backside were all displaced from previous riders so front tire dive and over the top onto rocks. Landed on right side about ear area. Absolutely didn't even know I had hit my head. Shoulder and ribs injured badly though. Luckily I had this on, or would have been a heli ride to hosp.
Also looks sweet and is comfortable.
