2006-2007 Suzuki GSXR 600 750 Motorcycle Black Headlight with Reflective Chrome Interior Assembly Review

I gave this replacement headlight a 3 out of 5. Its ok. It looks great but when you take it apart and compare it the OEM headlamp, you can see the cheapness in the product. I did a projector headlight conversion which is why I needed a cheap headlamp because I had to cut the headlamp up. I didn't really want to pay $300 for an OEM headlamp and cut it up and possibly screw it up. The lens is not as thick as the OEM and the reflector is definitely made of a cheaper material which is probably why it is not DOT approved. The lens also scratches very easily so be very careful. The chrome reflector bowl is also cheaply painted. After just a few minutes of handling it, the chrome paint started to rub off on my hands. I handled the OEM reflector all day and the chrome never rubbed off. Aside from that, for $90 you cant expect much. On the plus side, it does have good rubber mounts and the adhesive that keeps the headlamp and lens stuck together is of a good quality. It does the job. I mounted a 3 inch projector in place of the low beam and seems to be holding up just fine.
