If you are going to this exhaust from the stock pipe, this is a pretty loud exhaust. Mine sounded a lot louder the first couple of days and either it's quieted down or I am just more used to it. My reason to buy this pipe was letting cars know I am there and I feel like this really helped a lot. I've kept my exhaust heat shield on as well but have seen others ditch it (online)...so decide what you want before you do the install.

This slip on is about a 2 hour project with no serious work involved.
