Motorcycle Full Face Helmet DOT - Spikes Razor Wire Red (X-Large) Review

I really like this helmet. It's comfortable and the extra large fits well on my extra large noggin. To my eyes, the design looks a little less ridiculous and a little more cool in person than it does in pictures. The lens pictured is not totally correct. It comes with two lenses - a clear and a smoke, which is tinted very dark. Personally I prefer the smoke lens because it eliminates the need for me to stuff sunglasses underneath my helmet. However, on my helmet, it seems like neither of the lenses fit perfectly on the helmet. Not a big deal, and it's barely noticeable, but it seems like they just don't seat on the helmet 100% properly. The amount of padding is minimal but it's comfortable nonetheless. There is no snap button to hold the excess strap length after the helmet is already secured, but there is an elastic loop to tuck it into so it doesn't flap around in the wind. It's a little difficult to secure with gloves on, but any helmet is. Ventilation is good, with no whistles. There is a little plastic nose guard which easily removes. I did remove mine because it makes me feel claustrophobic. Bottom line: I'm very happy with this helmet, and I'm sure you will be too. For the price, I can't give it anything other than five stars.
