Crossover design with quick-change accessories allows for customized looks and functions for every ride. Comes with the clear shield, the integrated sun shield, the peak and the removable chin bar. Redesigned GE Lexan chin bar is EPS lined and accepts the new chin curtain (included). Mounted with strong stainless-steel latches, it passes the tests for full-face helmets of the European standard ECE-2205. VPS (Vision Protection System) short dark shield mounted on the inside of the helmet and moving independently from the face shield. Being as thick as a regular outer shield, it provides real eye protection. It can be replaced easily if it gets damaged and is also available in amber, light blue and light smoke for different riding conditions. It is easily operated by a large rubber coated slider on the left side of the helmet. Quick-change shield is optically correct, UV 400, and fitted in an exceptionally large eye port. Several opening positions are possible thanks to the updated shield mechanism. It accepts the Pinlock anti-fog insert (included). The short black peak can be installed in seconds instead of the clear shield. Ready for the N-Com communication system. Lightweight aerodynamic polycarbonate shell with built-in spoiler for improved stability (3.6 pounds with all accessories). Fully removable and washable Clima-Comfort liner is antibacterial, anti-fungal and wicking. Super-efficient JSW top vent with exhaust grid in the rear spoiler; works in conjunction with the air channels along the crown. It is operated by a glove-friendly rubber slider. I ride a 2010 Goldwing and a 2007 KLR650. This helmet is working out as a good deal for both bikes. I ride year round and in Michigan you see everything weather wise. The Visor is wide and fog free when using the pinlock insert. I can fit a head sock or bandana underneath on the cold days (I have rode at 10 degree's) and the convertible features really do work well for me. I like the open face set up on the wing and all the protection when I am off road on the KLR. I like the fit very much, I would have to say I have a round head and I get no pressure points while wearing the Nolan. The liner also comes out easily to wash the miles out. Are there negatives? Well maybe. The venting relly doesn't seem to do anything on mine and you cannot lock the helmet because there is no d-ring. Would I buy it again? Yep. Bought one for the wife and 2 of my co-workers also have purchased one after checking mine out. Very good product.
