Joe Rocket Alter Ego 2.0 Pants (XXX-LARGE) (BLACK/GREY) Review

I bought these to accompany my joe rocket alter ego jacket. I could not find much of anything else that was in my price range that really takes the cake. The fit was perfect and overall, they look pretty good. I have noticed some quality control issues however. The interior waterproof liner is held in by buttons sewn onto the pants themselves that attach to loops that are sewn on to the waterproof liner. These loops can very easily break off. Even if you're just in a hurry to get them on or off you can run the risk of tearing the retention loops off. Another issue I have run in to is that the top button never wants to stay buttoned. Other than those two things, I haven't run into any issues with these pants that would be a total deal breaker. They're comfortable enough. The grey stripe part above the knee that wraps around the back of the pants to the other side is removable to improve airflow. The knee pad height has two levels of adjustment. They were already correct for me. These pants aren't super awesome, but I'd buy them again.
