These are good, especially for the price, and very cute but BE SURE TO ORDER BIGGER than you think your child needs. We recently ordered a pair for my daughter to replace the pair of Ovation half chaps she had outgrown. We really liked the last pair so wanted the same thing. She is an average size 10 year old. We ordered the 12-14, a size up, to be sure they would fit but they were still too small to zip up so we had to return them. Judging from the size of the 12-14, I don't even think the next size up would fit her. I'd give them more stars but the sizing thing stinks and is a big hassle to have to return the item, do without for a while, etc.
