Only after I had bought the Vortex helmet did I learn that Bell only used two shell sizes. That means that the XS and S are the same size shell with different amounts of padding. The M-XL are the same size shell. I got a medium and the thing is gigantic. It looks not only ridiculous but downright funny as well. Don't get me wrong, the helmet fits comfortably but the overall size is much much bigger than it should be for a medium. Unless you are a XS-S or a XL I would recommend picking up a different helmet as it will most definitely look out of place on you.
