Wind Vest Replacement Screen - 14in. - Smoke 62-1410 Review

I had on my 2010 Road Glide, the factory touring windshield. I'm 6'1" and I still had to strain to see over this monster. The 14 windvest is about 1 1/2" lower and makes a world of difference. Same amount of wind blockage due to windvest top "spoiler" feature but now I can comfortable see over the windshield. There is a bit of distortion looking thru the Windvest but it is minimal and I don't think it will be a problem in slow speed maneuvers. I'm happy with this purchase. Seller shipped quickly and it was packaged well.

I understand that the 2010 Glide's shark nose is about 1" higher than older models so investigate this before ordering.

Only problem i see is the oil breathers out of the valve covers, i had to custom make two 90's to feed to the intake but it beats 300$ from harley. You dont need the spacer though because only the intake matched the bolt pattern. add some 90's for the breathers and this is the way to go!!!

Not sure how this is being used by Dmitri, but this is to be used on the brake pads only. To be used when they are not in installed yet. The pad back, not the friction surface, is to be sprayed and allowed to dry for at least 10 minutes. Re assemble and you are done. To use this properly, you need to get into and disassemble your brakes. That is a task that needs to be done carefully. If done wrong, you not only put yourself at risk, you are putting everyone you drive near at risk.
All that being said, it works well and this is the third can I have purchased over the years. Last can met an early demise, it fell off a shelf and under a tire and I ran it over. It makes a big sticky blue mess. On an additional side note, the 2 part Epoxy Garage paint from Home Depot cleaned up nicely after the can ruptured.

Chain is just what you would expect it to be. It should be noted that the chain comes with the CLIP style master link. I'm surprised it came with the clip version, as it says on the back of the package that a rivet type is what is recommended and that the clip is potential weak point. I bought a rivet master link separately and used that with the install. If you like the clip style master link this will be perfect for you.

Fits like a glove with the oem topbox, looks good and is impossible to drill incorrectly. The oem box has these spots already marked! One problem, is that two of the screws (that attach to the top part of the cover to the upper portion of the pad) included with the kit, are so small that I had to get two longer ones. Ridiculous oversite hence only four stars.

I have a pair I bought in 2006 and am replacing them since having an accident. They still had plenty of wear and probably would still be in great shape years from now if I hadn't laid my bike down! They could still continue to protect me, but like a helmet, I figure that one accident is enough. The way I went down, my foot would have been burned and torn up if I had not been wearing these boots. You could see some melting of the sole and scrapes on the leather, but my foot was perfectly safe even though it was a bad accident. My leg and knee weren't as lucky and it took over 6 months for them to heal, but if I had not been wearing the boots I am sure I would have lost my foot and had more long term damage. the sturdiness of the boot also appears to have minimized damage to my leg and as the bike pinned my foot to the ground, and it also helped keep the bike from scraping as hard as it would have. My husband and I are stunned at how well it held up and shocked at how good it still looked after the accident.

These are so comfortable that I often wear them just as an everyday boot as well. When my new pair arrives, I will retire my first pair to everyday use. They have great traction and when we get bad weather in the northwest, these make me feel more secure in my footing than any other shoes or boots that I own. Even after a 300 mile ride day, they are comfortable. They breath well, so in winter I like to add rubber over boots to help keep the cold at bay, otherwise, these are year round comfortable.

I can't recommend these enough. Great boots that will last for YEARS!

Good shorts -- functional. No complaints. The waist is pretty much right at 34. The waist line is adjustable -- but the waist adjuster thingies max-out at 34. So if your hovering around 34.5 or 35 or so, you might want to size-up to 36 and then use the waist adjustment thingies to synch the waist line back down to 35.
