Tail light is equipped with Stop Alert function, in which 3 quick flashes are applied when the brakes are pressed. Sequential LEDs flash in sequence in the direction you are turning or merging so there is no confusion which way you are going.
A microprocessor is use with an integrated circuit chip (IC) to control all the functions of park, brake, and sequential signals. All IC chips are micro soldered by machine to deliver consistent and reliable solder points.

2006-2012 Triumph Daytona 675 2008-2012 Street Triple Sprint GT Integrated Sequential LED Tail Lights Smoke Lens Review

Replaced my OEM tail-light with this one, works great. Aesthetically, the smoked gray color matches my bike well, I like it better than the OEM red. (Mind you, when it's on, the bright red LEDs override the smoke color.) The material looks and feels professional, and shaped exactly the same as the OEM light. Installing this integrated signal tail-light availed the opportunity to remove the stock rear signal lights, which makes a surprising difference in how much cleaner the tail looks.

Configuring the lights to flash red on braking, and choosing between regular and progressing signal blinking (or to turn signaling off completely) is simple, and the instructions guide you through working the single button to arrange it to your liking. (It also has bottom-facing LEDs for license plate lighting, but those didn't apply to my Daytona 675.) The deep-seated button is nicely hidden away on the back of the unit (opposite the light face), but also makes it unfeasible to configure after installation so make sure you configure it to your liking before you install everything back together.

The instructions are clear, and it comes with all the connections necessary to make the installation seamless; no soldering or fancy wiring required. A caution regarding the wiring harness, it gets HOT if you leave the signal on. The instructions promise that this is normal, but just beware that it is a burning hazard. I tie-wrapped it under a metal bracket underneath the passenger seat to help dissipate the heat. Probably OCD of me, because in everyday riding the signal light won't be on for nearly as long as during my installation / testing.

Have put on several 100 km's and I haven't encountered any issues with it so far. Overall, very happy with it. Aesthetically pleasing, well designed, and high-quality.
