Emgo Wide-Mouth Megaphone Universal Muffler 80-84013 Review

I had no prblems with fitment or its quality and finish. And it does come with the exhaust adapters. I ordered them separately because amazon's description, nor the Emgo catalog said they came with the muffler, while other models specifically said so. The 80-84013 muffler is not any sort of performance piece. Do not mistakingly think it. It is simply a megaphone style muffler, It has no flow enhancing aspects of design. The muffler I replaced actually has better flow characteristics, and I may reinstall it.

If you want a nice, good looking muffler, and this shape is what you are looking for, then go for it.

If you are looking for a classic look, while also providing a performance gain, this may not be what your looking for.

Used the foam that came in the shipping box to compensate for smaller than OEM battery. ** UPDATE 10/2012: accidentally forgot the keys in the ignition, with empty battery next day. The LiFeP04 battery became toasted. This type of battery *really* needs an automatic accessory cutoff relay. Discharge downto 8V will turn this magnificient battery into scrap. I went back to lead acid battery. Fun while it lasted. A 12V threshold version of the "LiPo Battery Low Voltage Buzzer" could be a lifesaver, allowing the battery to cry for help, before dying. Alternatively: Low Voltage Battery Disconnect Switch (LVD) but these are pricerange $50 .. $100.

Yuasa YUAM229LY YB9L-B Battery Review

I bought this battery for my Aprila Scarabeo 150 Scooter (a very fine machine by the way). The battery came quickly and needed acid added (avaliable at most auto supply store for about $20). I have had to charge the battery only once since new 6 months ago after a long xmas vacation.
WARNING: Follow directions with battery and and acid. Be careful not to spill acid as it will eat away paint. Flush with water if you get any on our skin.Use rubber cloves.
