EBC's HH series motorcycle brake pads are American made of ultra-high friction sintered copper alloy. Designed for maximum stopping power and long usable life. Fitted with stainless steel heat radiator plates for motorcycles without built-in caliper piston insulators to reduce heat transfer into the bike's hydraulic fluid. Double friction compound pucks improve venting and reduce back plate distortion.

The FA231HH fits the right (throttle) side front caliper of the Suzuki V-Strom DL1000 (mine is a 2008). Get the FA229HH for the left (clutch) side caliper and you're all set. You might also want to invest in new spring clips for the caliper pins as well.

These pads take some time to bed-in if you ride normally. Once they're bedded they bite better than OEM organics. The Strom's front brakes are somewhat numb with factory pads and these HH pads help the feel considerably. Quick stops from freeway speeds don't result in as much fade as other pads that I've used. I'll see how long these last, and if they've got a reasonable life I'll be using them again.
