EBC's HH series motorcycle brake pads are American made of ultra-high friction sintered copper alloy. Designed for maximum stopping power and long usable life. Fitted with stainless steel heat radiator plates for motorcycles without built-in caliper piston insulators to reduce heat transfer into the bike's hydraulic fluid. Double friction compound pucks improve venting and reduce back plate distortion.

EBC Brakes FA231HH Sintered Copper Alloy Disc Brake Pad Review

The FA231HH fits the right (throttle) side front caliper of the Suzuki V-Strom DL1000 (mine is a 2008). Get the FA229HH for the left (clutch) side caliper and you're all set. You might also want to invest in new spring clips for the caliper pins as well.

These pads take some time to bed-in if you ride normally. Once they're bedded they bite better than OEM organics. The Strom's front brakes are somewhat numb with factory pads and these HH pads help the feel considerably. Quick stops from freeway speeds don't result in as much fade as other pads that I've used. I'll see how long these last, and if they've got a reasonable life I'll be using them again.

Aside from a minor shipping glitch, (Which was handled promptly), I am very happy with this product. After searching the 'net for "seat covers" and coming up empty, I found this creation on Amazon. I live in Hawaii where it is sunny almost every day. During a tropical summer, it is also very hot. If I can, I always park my bike in the shade. But that is not always possible. And that's where this cover comes into play. A black bike seat + the hot sun=Ouch! Someone obviously thought this out, because not all motorcycles are the same. It says "universal fitment" and I had no trouble figuring out how to apply the cover to my big Honda cruiser (Interstate). Included in the purchase are some large plastic hooks for minor size or placement issues or to attach bungee cords if needed. There are also side shades to protect the sides of your seat. Replacing a motorcycle seat that has been baked and cracked in the sun is not cheap to replace or have re-upholstered. Check this out.

Thick leather, and cured properly, even a newb can tell, this leather will accept softeners or repellants if you wish to apply them. The stitching is 1st class, and the metalwork is for real, the tongue on the buckle is not going to break off or bend out of shape when you try to use it. This is a high quality item, of course it reflects that in the price but...you for sure get what you pay for, every penny's worth! Also the best part is..ok, I hate to brag like this but...my bike looks awesome anyway, lol, but I have to admit this bag makes it look even more..umm..awesomer! (a new word, lol)
Oh, and one more thing, the bottle there, it ain't for drinkin'...it really is a spare "FUEL" container, it is "NOT" recommended for drinking out of, as the metal has been treated to accept petroleum distillates.
